Invitation Arts

Plans change. A venue falls through, the baraat moves an hour later, or the mehndi turns out to need a bigger lawn. The great advantage of a digital invitation over a printed card is that it can change with them.

What you can change at any time

The practical details of each function stay yours to edit, before and after you publish:

  • the venue, its address and its map link;
  • the times: when guests arrive and when each part of the evening begins.

Open your invitation from the dashboard, make the change and save it. There is nothing to send again: everyone who opens the link from then on sees the new details, including guests who saved it weeks ago.

It is still kind to tell people. Post a short note in the family group with the same link, such as "The mehndi has moved to 8 pm, details in the invitation".

What is fixed once you publish

One payment buys one invitation for one celebration. So that an invitation cannot be rewritten for a different wedding, these details are fixed once it is published:

  • the names, full names and families, and the lines about the parents and their cities;
  • who is inviting, and the request line;
  • the opening words you wrote for the invitation;
  • the occasion, and the link itself;
  • the date of each function.

You can still remove a function. You cannot add a new one. A function you published with its date "to follow" can be given its date once.

Having a name or a date corrected

Mistakes happen, and a date can move. If a fixed detail needs changing, ask for a correction from your dashboard, giving exactly what should change. Our team checks it, may adjust it, and then makes the change or declines it. You are told either way.

Before you publish

The easiest correction is the one you never need. Before you pay, checkout lists the names, the host, the dates and the link for one last look. Read them slowly, or better, ask someone else to.
